14th Annual Women's Fall Luncheon

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20,21)

The verse above describes how God answered prayers beyond more than we can ask or imagine. We had over 90 women who attended our luncheon on October 22, 12:30-2:30 PM. Marta Green shared a powerful message on drawing near to God with confidence based on Hebrews 10:14-22. Macy Williams blessed us as she and her friends, Joey and Ellie led us in a worship time. Paula’s Café catered for the food, and we all enjoyed pulled pork, scalloped potatoes, and green beans. As always, Dan and Janette Stanton hosted us at the White Barn.

There were approximately 13 churches from Maryville, Tarkio, Fairfax, and Mound City represented at the luncheon. We had at least 29 women who attended for the first time. Post-event survey results indicated a positive response to the event. Several women expressed interest in participating in the 4-week “Grateful” Bible study. We will start October 25 and continue through November 1, 8, 15.Thank you for your prayers for the event. Let us give God all the glory!
