Our Beliefs

The Rock Port Baptist Church affiliates in voluntary cooperation with the New Life Baptist Association comprised of 17 Baptist churches in the Northwest Missouri area.  Together as an association we support The Lighthouse at Northwest Missouri State University, a Baptist Collegiate Ministry. We are also part of the Missouri Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention (also known as Great Commission Baptists since 2012).

We support mission efforts through both conventions.  We also give to four annual offerings: the Missouri Mission Offering (statewide), the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (North America), the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (international), and the World Hunger Offering (SEND Relief with the NAMB).

In our local community we do cooperate with the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance which includes help in Jesus’ name to those in need through a food pantry and financial assistance to those in need.  We also participate in community services as well during special events throughout the year such as Thanksgiving, Good Friday, Vacation Bible School, and the National Day of Prayer.
